The nursery is a converted Victorian primary school in the picturesque conservation village of Fala. There is easy access from the A68, and ample parking at the nursery means that dropping off and picking up your child is safe and stress free.

The Opening hours: Monday to Friday all year round

Full Day Session: 7.30 am to 6.30 pm

Morning Session: 8.15 am to 12.45 pm

Afternoon Session: 1.00 pm to 5.30 pm

Fixed Holidays: Closed for 5 days over Christmas and New Year + 2 in service days

Maximum Number of children: 44

The Outside Play Area
We have a grassed, secure south facing play area, where your child can enjoy physical activity in fresh country air. They can play with outdoor play equipment, ride on toys and trikes together with pushing and pulling toys. In this area your child can learn about flora and fauna and plant their own flowers and vegetables.

The Nursery

* offers a local school drop off and pick up service for
children attending Council Authority nurseries.

* is in partnership with Midlothian Council to offer grant assisted places for 3 - 5 year olds
   Please note you don't have to live in Midlothian to qualify for a funded place with us.
